On Friday, East Bridgewater Police Officer Ryan Cramer graduated from the 61st Recruit Officer Class, after completing 25 weeks of training at the Massachusetts Police Training Council’s Plymouth Academy.
Officer Cramer, an East Bridgewater High School graduate (Class of 2008), was appointed to full-time officer status on July 1, 2015. Officer Cramer, a former dispatcher and Permanent Intermittent Police Officer with the department since 2013, worked as full-time patrol officer this past summer before entering the policy academy in the fall.
Officer Cramer was selected as Squad Leader for the 1st Squad in this 61st ROC academy and excelled during the training. Officer Cramer holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration with a minor in Criminal Justice Management. Officer Cramer will begin working his patrol shift this weekend.
East Bridgewater Chief of Police John E. Cowan was on hand for Officer Cramer’s graduation. Ryan is the son of Timothy and Lisa Cramer of East Bridgewater.
