EAST BRIDGEWATER — With the new school year starting tomorrow, the East Bridgewater Police will have an enhanced presence in school zones to ensure a safe and smooth transition for students and motorists alike.
As they do each year, the East Bridgewater Police Department will have an increased presence on the first day of school in order to maintain a safe flow of traffic and remind drivers to be on high alert for children walking and cycling near schools with schools now back in session.
“This time of year is always a busy time and we ask everyone for their patience when traveling through school zones,” Chief Allen said. “We want everybody to safely get to where they are going, and ask for their cooperation with officers and crossing guards.”
