The state 911 system is currently experiencing intermittent interruption of service related to problems with a nationwide internet service provider. This is a national problem also impacting most of Massachusetts, including here in East Bridgewater
Residents are advised that they should call East Bridgewater Public Safety Communications directly at 508-378-3770 or 508-378-7223 in event of an emergency, until this issue is resolved.
Motorists or those on state property/highways needing State Police assistance can also call any of the following State Police emergency call centers:

- New Braintree Control PSAP 508-867-1170
- Northampton Control PSAP 413-586-1508
- Framingham PSAP 508-820-2121.
