EAST BRIDGEWATER — Chief Scott Allen is pleased to invite residents to join members of the East Bridgewater Police Department for their upcoming Coffee With A Cop events to celebrate National Coffee with a Cop Day.
Wednesday, Oct. 2 from 9-11 a.m. and 3-5 p.m.
- Honey Dew Donuts, inside Mobil, (9-11 a.m.), 475 N. Bedford St., East Bridgewater
- Dunkin Donuts (3-5 p.m.) 204 N. Bedford St., East Bridgewater
Members of the community are encouraged to join the East Bridgewater Police Department for a pair of informal get-together over coffee later this week. The gatherings will give residents and officers a chance to meet and interact with one another, as well as an opportunity for residents to ask questions and express any concerns they may have.
During the morning event at Honey Dew Donuts, officers will be speaking to those in attendance about Narcan and Naloxboxes. A Naloxbox has been installed in the Mobil gas station where the meeting will be held, along with other places in East Bridgewater.
In addition, the officers will be discussing the services offered by Plymouth County Outreach.
“We look forward to opportunities like this to be able to go out into the community and spend time with residents in an informal setting,” Chief Allen said. “We hope to see a lot of people at each event and we welcome residents to ask us questions and let us know how we’re doing.”
