EAST BRIDGEWATER — Chief Michael Jenkins is pleased to announce a new service that will provide convenient, online access to traffic accident reports and allow residents to skip an in-person trip to the police station in the future.
As a service to East Bridgewater residents and businesses, the East Bridgewater Police Department has partnered with Carfax Crashdocs.org.
“This online service allows people to access accident reports quickly and efficiently, without having to come to the police station,” Chief Jenkins said. “We hope this service will make the aftermath of a car accident an easier process for our residents.”
Starting immediately, all businesses seeking crash reports will be referred to Crashdocs.org website. Residents still have the option of coming to the station, but the department strongly encourages them to use the service as well.
Residents interested in obtaining reports of a fatal crash reports must visit the East Bridgewater Police Station.
To obtain a crash report, follow these simple steps:
- Go to Crashdocs.org and click on the State of Massachusetts
- Select East Bridgewater Police Department
- Provide the required search fields of: Last Name, Report Number, and Date of Loss
- Click the Search Reports button
- Download your accident report at the cost of $5
