EAST BRIDGEWATER — Police Chief Paul O’Brien and Fire Chief Timothy Harhen report that the East Bridgewater Police and Fire Departments responded to a motor vehicle crash this afternoon.
At approximately noon Wednesday, East Bridgewater Police and Fire were dispatched to the area of 63 Plymouth St. for a report of a motor vehicle rollover. Upon arrival, police found a 63-year-old female driver, of East Bridgewater, conscious and alert but trapped in her Subaru Forester SUV.
Firefighters used hydraulic rescue tools to cut open the vehicle and peel back the roof to extricate the driver.
The driver was transported to South Shore Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation by the East Bridgewater Police Department.
