EAST BRIDGEWATER — Chief Scott Allen would like to make East Bridgewater residents aware of an upcoming event in Seekonk for new teen drivers next month.
The Ford Driving Skills for Life event offers hands-on driving instruction for new drivers who hold a valid permit or licence.
The free event will take place at the Seekonk Speedway, 1782 Fall River Ave., on Aug. 21-22.
The topics participants will learn include:
- Hazard Recognition
- Braking and Stopping Distance
- Vehicle Handling
- Distracted Driving
- Impaired Driving
- Reaction Time
- Space Management
