East Bridgwater Police Respond to Scene Where Suspect Barricaded Themselves

EAST BRIDGEWATER — Chief Michael Jenkins reports that the East Bridgewater Police Department responded to the scene of a barricaded suspect Wednesday night.

On Wednesday, Jan 31, at about 7:15 p.m., East Bridgewater officers responded to a home on the 200 block of South Street.

Upon arriving at the scene, East Bridgewater Police requested assistance from the Southeastern Massachusetts Law Enforcement Council (SEMLEC) SWAT unit and specially trained officers who are part of the unit. State Police were also on scene.
