November 9, 2017,

During the past month, detectives assigned to the WEB Task force have been investigating a male party, alleged to be engaging in the sale of Heroin, Fentanyl and other narcotics in and around Whitman, as well as the surrounding communities.  Throughout the course of this investigation, detectives developed probable cause to believe that the male, identified as Mr. Jordys Bolivar Arias-Gonzalez , 19 years of age from Fernboro Street,  Boston, MA was arranging sales from the confines of his vehicle  to make suspected narcotics deliveries.

Based upon probable cause that Mr. Arias-Gonzalez was involved in narcotics distribution, WEB TF detectives applied for and were granted a search warrant for Mr. Arias-Gonzalez and his vehicle.

At approximately 1:00 pm on November 9, 2017 WEB Task Force Detectives observed Mr. Arias-Gonzalez arrive in an area in Whitman known to detectives during the investigation that he frequented to conduct suspected narcotic transactions, at which time they executed the search warrant of Mr. Arias-Gonzalez and his vehicle.  Detectives moved in and stopped Mr. Arias-Gonzalez at 1055 Street in Auburn.

Mr. Arias-Gonzalez was removed from his vehicle and secured and placed under arrest by WEB Detectives as well as uniformed officers from the Whitman Police Department.  Seized during the arrest of Mr. Arias-Gonzalez were several items associated with narcotics distribution, several phones, and cash, consistent with profits from street-level sales of Narcotics.  Detectives also seized Mr. Arias-Gonzalez’s vehicle as it was the main instrument in his narcotics distribution operation.  WEB Task Force, through Whitman Police will be requesting for forfeiture through the Plymouth County District Attorney’s office.

Mr. Arias-Gonzalez is being charged with 3 counts of Distribution of a Class B Substance (Fentanyl).  He was booked and processed at the Whitman Police Department and later arraigned at Brockton District Court.
