Robins Pond Area
This morning, East Bridgewater Police have been responding to a half dozen or more car breaks that occurred overnight in the neighborhoods around Robins Pond, near Route 106. Numerous residents awoke this morning to find that their cars had been entered overnight, most all of which were left unlocked. Officers and Deputies from the Plymouth County Sheriff’s Department Bureau of Criminal Investigation have processed the vehicles for fingerprints and other evidence. Residents who may have seen anything suspicious overnight are asked to call the East Bridgewater Police, 508-378-7223.
Residents are reminded to always lock their vehicles and house doors. Often, suspects will roam through neighborhoods trying every vehicle door, looking for unlocked vehicles that have valuables located inside them. Police warn residents to not only lock their doors, but to also not leave anything of value inside your vehicle, as suspects are known to break windows to enter a vehicle if valuables can be seen and/or are stored inside them.
