EAST BRIDGEWATER – Police Chief Scott Allen and EB HOPE (East Bridgewater Help Outreach Prevention Education) Director Susan Silva are pleased to announce that the East Bridgewater Police Department and EB HOPE are hosting a benefit concert to raise awareness and funding for long-term treatment for those suffering from Substance Use Disorders as part of National Recovery Month.

Chief Scott Allen and the East Bridgewater Board of Selectmen report that the town has agreed to join a lawsuit against the manufacturers and distributors of pharmaceutical opioids, in an effort to recover municipal costs that have been brought on by the opioid epidemic.
