Door-to-Door Vendor/Solicitor Application

The Town of East Bridgewater has established a Door-to-Door Solicitation Bylaw. (Click here to visit the No Solicitation Registration Form)

As part of the bylaw, each salesperson must submit an application signed under the penalties of perjury to the Chief of Police or designee along with a fee of $80.00 payable to the Town of East Bridgewater to cover the cost of investigating and confirming the facts stated in the application.

All applicants must appear in-person to the police station to be fingerprinted as part of the application process.

Subject to the provisions of the Massachusetts Criminal Offender Record Information (CORI) laws (M.G.L. c. 6, § 167 et seq.) and applicable regulations, the East Bridgewater Police Department will conduct a criminal background check to determine the applicant’s fitness and suitability to conduct door-to-door sales within the Town of East Bridgewater. By signing below, the applicant authorizes the Town of East Bridgewater Police Department to obtain and review criminal record information as part of this application process
