East Bridgewater Police and Fire Department personnel will be hosting a Public Safety Open House, next Saturday, May 7th at the Police Department, #153 Central Street, from 10 am to 1 pm. There will Police and Fire Vehicles and Apparatus for the public, including children, to view and explore. Police Department personnel certified in Child Passenger Safety will be conducting a Car Seat Checkpoint.
Chief John E. Cowan has enlisted the Plymouth County Sheriff’s Department to have a fingerprint station setup for children. The police station will be open to the public for tours throughout the event. Refreshments, including hamburgers, hot dogs and sausage will be cooked onsite by department personnel.
Come down and learn more about your town’s Public Safety Departments and Personnel. Officers will be active throughout the day engaging with the public, cooking on the grill and giving tours.
